The Boerne Little League team is one win away from clinching a spot in the United States final of the Little League World Series tournament. Boerne, the last undefeated U.S. team in this year's tournament, defeated Mountain Region champion Henderson, Nevada, 5-2 on Wednesday to advance to the United States bracket championship.

The Boerne-Paseo Verde game will be played on Thursday, August 25th, at 4:00 PM ET on ESPN.

Boerne's World Series Run

Boerne has been dominant throughout the World Series, outscoring their opponents 31-5 in three games. Cooper Hastings leads the team with seven RBIs, while Landon Marsh and Brady North have each homered twice. Pitcher Cason Garcia has allowed just one earned run in 8.1 innings pitched.

Paseo Verde's Road to the Bracket Championship

Paseo Verde has also been impressive in the World Series, going 2-1 in pool play and defeating Great Lakes champion Grandview, Missouri, in the first round of the bracket tournament. Their only loss came to Curacao in pool play.

What's at Stake

The winner of the Boerne-Paseo Verde game will advance to the United States final on Friday, August 26th. The winner of the U.S. final will then face the winner of the international bracket for the Little League World Series championship on Sunday, August 28th.
