Manchester City lose at home for the first time since August
United score twice in second half to seal FA Cup glory
Manchester United put Manchester City to the sword in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Saturday to reach the final.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for United after just five minutes with a stunning strike from 25 yards out, before Phil Foden equalized for City in the 28th minute. Bernando Silva put City ahead for the first time in the 45th minute, but United fought back in the second half after Erik ten Hag put speculation over his future at Old Trafford to one side at half-time. Bruno Fernandes equalized for United in the 57th minute, before Antony Martial gave United the lead again just four minutes later.
City pushed for an equalizer but United held on for a memorable victory at Wembley. This is the first time Manchester City have opened the scoring after half-time and gone on to lose a Premier League match since August.
